Get a fresh spring face

A pale complexion is pretty in winter, but come spring it’s time to warm things up. What’s the look? Everything is illuminated with a fresh dewy face and a hint of bronze.

A pale complexion is pretty in winter, but come spring it’s time to warm things up. What’s the look? Everything is illuminated with a fresh dewy face and a hint of bronze.

It’s important to keep your face hydrated with moisturizer, because that’s what’s going to make your spring glow come from within. Look for a gel-cream textured product, which will leave your skin feeling refreshed. (In order to look fresh, you’ve got to feel fresh!).

After you moisturize, use an illuminating primer. This type of product is key because you are able to cover your entire face with lightening properties without overwhelming yourself in sparkles or glitter.

Instead of jumping right on the bronze, try blending it into your natural blush routine. That way the transition will look more natural. Lightly dust a shimmery bronzer along the planes of your face that would naturally be touched by sun – cheek and brow bones, temples, nose and chin. Then hit the apples of your cheeks with a touch of blush for a bit of colour.

For a real dewy look that’s less about bronze, try using a cream or gel based blush and a highlighting product (it can be totally sheer or slightly tinted) on those same sun spots as mentioned above.

This fresh spring face is all about glowing skin and less about your other make up. A glossy pink mouth is soft and pretty, and a little mascara will help to open up your eyes.
