Q: By the end of winter, my hair looks like a dry frizzy mess. I tried using shine drops but they make my hair super greasy. Any ideas?

First, combat the frizzies by using a shampoo and conditioner specially formulated for dry or damaged hair--they'll help pump moisture back into your strands. Then use a styling cream or defrizzing lotion before blow-drying to help calm flyaways and boost shine.

Be careful with shine drops. I once spritzed a shine spray all over my style--my hair ended up so greasy hair that I had to rewash it. Use these products sparingly--all you need is a maximum of three drops or three pumps of a super-fine mist. --Lisa Tant
