Best dressed: 2012 Golden Globes Emma Stone in Lanvin

The fashion forecast at this year’s 69th Golden Globes was more carefree and easy breezy than years past with tresses down in loose waves and gowns in pale tones reminiscent of the beach.

Blush was the new black, with many of the PYTs opting for a nude, blush or pale pink palette with hints of black and white gowns and rich jewel tones. If the hair wasn’t up (and in a hair band - a trend we hope won’t catch on), then it was long and very bed head-chic. For the face, make up artists went for the smoky eye and the prominent pout with a super-saturated lip.
