Runway inspiration: It was all about a glamorous eye at shows like Marc Jacobs, Zac Posen and Louis Vuitton.

Focus on: Dramatic eyes

What's new: Feminine lips

A pale pink lip adds softness while keeping the attention on your eyes. It's this spring's fresh take on the iconic cat-eye-and-red-lip combo.

Create your own liner by applying a powdery eyeshadow, either wet or dry, with a brush. You'll have more control and mistakes are easy to fix.

Hair how-to

Wrap large sections of hair horizontally around the barrel of a one-and-a-half-inch curling iron and hold to set. Gently brush hair out to loosen waves while keeping the volume at the bottom. To create a slicked-back top, use a mixture of gel for shine and a small amount of wax (and bobby pins if needed) for hold.
