Spiced berries

Ingredients

  • 6 cups fresh mixed berries

  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar

  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg

  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  • If using strawberries, hull and quarter. Place in a large bowl with other berries. In a small bowl, stir sugar with nutmeg and cinnamon. Stir into berry mixture at least an hour, but no more than 4 hours, before serving.
