Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups grated carrots

  • 1/4 cup white vinegar

  • 2 tbsp water

  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar

  • 1/8 tsp salt

Instructions

  • PLACE carrots in a medium bowl. Boil vinegar with water, sugar and salt in a small saucepan until sugar is dissolved, 2 to 3 min. Pour vinegar mixture over carrots and let stand, stirring occasionally, 10 min. Use immediately or refrigerate, covered, until ready to serve.
