Chatelaine Triple Tested

Ingredients

  • 6 to 10 mint leaves

  • 3/4 oz simple syrup

  • 2 oz amber rum

  • 1 oz lime juice

  • 2 to 4 oz chilled soda water

  • slice of lime, to garnish

  • crushed ice

Instructions

  • PUT mint leaves in a tall glass. Add simple syrup and use the back of a wooden spoon to muddle the mint with the syrup.

  • FILL the glass with crushed ice. Add rum and lime juice. Stir.

  • ADD chilled soda water. Garnish with a lime slice.

  • Simple syrup: Boil 1 cup sugar with 1 cup water in a small pot until sugar dissolves. Store in fridge up to two months.
