Earth Hour, organized by the World Wildlife Fund, is held annually on the last Saturday of every March in Canada and around the world. (This year, WWF says more than 170 countries will be taking part.) This Saturday, March 25, households and businesses are asked to turn off their non-essential lights and electricity between 8:30 and 9:30 p.m. local time to raise awareness of climate change and its effect on our planet.

This year, show your support by cutting down on your hydro and making dinner by candlelight with some of these delicious no-cook options.
